Hourglass brow sculpting pencil: As someone who has probably the most weedy, shapeless natural brows going this was a complete and utter miracle purchase. Before I strategically draw them on, my natural eyebrows resemble those of a cartoon dog. This brow pencil has been constantly appearing on all of my favourite blogs for quite a while so I popped in to Space NK, gave it a whirl and boom. I had full, arched, sexy brows. The angled nib works perfectly to give you definition and shape and the wax-powder combo is fantastic because it doesn't make your eyebrows shiny.
Choco Chili Tea: Hi, my name is Issie and I'm a chocoholic. I recently tried (for the 10 zillionth time) to give up choccy during the week, it ended badly. I watched the first episode of Great British Bake Off with no chocolate, on my own, with no one to protect me from myself. Before I knew what had happened I'd found the only things in my entire flat that contained any chocolate, Coco Pops and some stale cupcake sprinkles that I've had for about 5 years, and crammed handfuls in to my mouth. I didn't feel proud and I didn't feel sexy when I had to admit this to Jack. Luckily Jack's mum introduced me to this tea (apparently favoured by Daisy Lowe as chocolate craving suppressor) and it's actually been a waist-line saver. It's made from cocoa shells, cinnamon, vanilla beans, ginger and chili and it's sooo delicious. It has so much flavour and spicy warmth to it. If, like me, you turn in to a woman possessed/an actual piglet when it comes to chocolate then I definitely recommend this.
Cos Houndstooth trousers: I live for AW clothing. Wearing my summer staples is great on holiday but have you ever tried to dress summer-appropriate and continue with normal life? It just can't happen. I can't have bits of tummy hanging out of a crop top at the office, or wear high waisted shorts when I've got to sit down at a desk and have them bunch up my bottom. Summer dresses and the underground is a dangerous game, those mysterious gusts of wind sending the dress up around my ears and don't even get me started on the lacey-bra-air-con nipple drama. I'm over summer. My yearly routine of hitting all my favourite shops and buying a new winter wardrobe has begun and holy crap do I love it. This is how these beautiful trousers came in to my life. They are so well made, they hang in all the right ways and they make me feel spectacularly Scandinavian-street style inspired. They're made of wool which is a massive plus for me because it means they don't crease. I wear mine with a tight black polo neck and my black and white Nike Air Max Thea's.
Cos oversized cardigan: Literally the most perfect cardigan I've ever seen.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat: I have a very small mouth. I've been told this by anyone and everyone, some of my friends measured it once and it turns out it's only 2.5cm wide when it's closed. Great. When I smile I'm all teeth and mouth but if I dare try to do a bit of a sultry pout (you know, for an Insta pic or two) then my mouth is nearly non existent. So I need all the help I can get really. When I heard that Charlotte Tilbury's lip cheat was claiming to re-shape and re-size lips with it's velvety smooth formula and lustrous shades I thought "here we go again" and doubtfully took my small mouth down to Selfridge's. I walked out 15 minutes later with Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, the stunning matching lip gloss and a big pouty mouth! Read up on this product and I'll meet you at the Charlotte Tilbury counter, I'll be the one buying it in every shade.
Dr. Lipp nipple balm for lips: Not for your nipples. If we're being sensible, I didn't need another lip balm, but I'm not being sensible. I can't get enough lip balms and this one is the best of it's kind. It's thick and heavy duty so I wouldn't apply it before putting lipstick on but it makes your lips silky soft and kissable. And not at all like nipples.
Clarins Instant Concealer: I was sceptical about buying make up from a predominantly skincare brand but I can only say great things about the concealer. It has such an easy to blend, light texture and you only need such a small amount to get really impressive coverage. It has a slight radiance-boosting formula that makes your eyes a better version of themselves. No cakey, dry, orange eye bags here!
H&M chunky chain necklace: I was really surprised to find this in H&M, usually their silver jewellery is that really shiny finish that gives you a bit of a plasticky look and fools no one in to thinking your outfit is more expensive than it is. This is the opposite of that, it has a slightly matte silver finish and a strong magnetic clasp so that you don't get a dangley piece of extra chain at the back.
Dr Marten Bethans: I don't think I can actually put into words how much I love my new babies. I mean, if you're going to embrace the chunky shoe trend (which I 1000% have done, I can't get enough) then you might as well do it right. These go with absolutely everything I own, they're so comfortable and they're just amazing in every way. I'm going to put this out there (sorry Air Max Thea's) and say these are the best shoes I have ever owned.
Mac eyeshadow in wedge: Mac have just got it so spot on with their eyeshadow's. Each one is a tiny pot of hard wearing, long lasting, highly pigmented perfection. They're so easy to blend that's it's basically impossible to not apply them well and they last for such a long time that I'm starting to wonder if I'll be separating my eyelid rolls in 70 years (yeah right, I'm coming for you Botox) and still applying the same pot. Wedge is my favourite colour because I'm yet to find a way that it doesn't look nice; across the whole lid, smoky and heavy, smudged in to the bottom lashes, as a base for darker shades. Take a bow Mac.
Pai facial oil: When my favourite blogger, Ghostparties, said that even people with oily skin should be using this I thought she must still be drunk from the night before. Adding oil to oil, are you out of your mind!? But, with an open mind, I stuck by my skincare guru and bought this and what an excellent decision that was. It's absolutely packed with vitamins that nourish and hydrate your skin so that it's left soft, sooth, blemish free and just a bit more alive looking. Always ideal I think, looking alive.
